LECTURES OF ARCHITECTURE
Franco Albini: Ina pavilions in the Bari and Milano Fair, 1935 - italian/english text
Franco Albini is an architect from Milan well known for his activity in the fields of architecture and design. The less known youth activity produce a three years long experiment: the “pavilions period” gives us thin and elegant architectures whose complexity isn’t told by the old b/w pictures. The Bari and Milan exhibitions Pavilions explain the implications of architectural composition when its immaterial components (light, etc.) come at a change due to different places. Albini is treating the building as a design object but he still lives the drama of the conflict interiors/exteriors, container/content.
