Adalberto Libera: casa Malaparte in Capri 1938/1942 - italian/english text - fourth edition

Among spring of 1938 and summer of 1942 the villa of the writer Curzio Malaparte was built based on the plan of the important Italian architect Adalberto Libera. A critic and difficult process comes to an end when one of the finest architecture in Europe stands in one of the most exciting place in the world. Many questions remain opened such as the one that deals with the authorship of the plan and the influence of Malaparte. The association among the two intellectuals forced in a relation author/client in the years of the regime is a very interesting plot for a book that tells this story. A 64 pages book containing 38 images, Italian end English text reveals a plot dedicated to all who want to know “more” about this incredible Mediterranean architecture.
