Ugo Luccichenti: villino trionfale a roma 1953-1959 - italian/english text
Ugo Luccichenti is a Roman Engeneer whose work is quite unknown to most of international critics. Elder than the most famous brother (the architect Amedeo) he have been in business with the principal building Societies working in Rome. His partnership with Società Generale Immobiliare (blamed by the purists) is marked of many interesting projects joining technics and research. The Villino Trionfale is a small but astonishing example of typological ibridation: a balanced experiment looking at italian "villa" and at roman "palazzo".
